Kayla Rawson, CSW

Kayla is a Certified Social Worker who is passionate about empowering her clients with the skills they need to create a joyful and meaningful life. Kayla received her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah and her Bachelor’s of Science in Family Life from Brigham Young University. Kayla has experience working with a wide variety of clients including couples, young adults, teenagers, and children. She helps clients explore the roots of their challenges by addressing past trauma, thinking patterns, core beliefs, attachment styles, and emotional regulation skills. Kayla uses a holistic approach and believes that each client is the expert on their own life.
Kayla has a background in a wide variety of settings including a treatment center for teenage girls, elementary school social work, and working with individuals in crisis at the Emergency Room. Kayla is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness. Because of her diverse background, Kayla is passionate about helping individuals with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, betrayal trauma, pornography use, faith transitions, perfectionism, couples issues, women’s issues, and stress management. It is of utmost importance to Kayla that every client who walks into her office feels safe, feels understood, feels accepted for who they are, and begins to feel hope for a brighter future. During her free time, Kayla enjoys group fitness classes, her daily swig runs, true crime podcasts, and playing with her toddler.
